Abhishek found me on Shaadi.com, contacted me. We exchanged phone numbers and spoke for about 5 days. It was in those 5 days we felt a strong connection. He then flew down from the US to Kuwait because Kuwait is where I reside and work. He flew down with his mom and we found out we were extremely compatible and took the decision to spend the rest of our lives together. Within 2 months of knowing each other we got court married and we are planning our church wedding at the moment. Our profession were our common ground as we both are Electrical Engineers and very passionate about our careers as well. We also could relate to one another as we both have very strong family backgrounds and are very close to our respective families and now we are blessed with 2 sets of families.
