Its commonly known that marriages are made in heaven but mine was made on Shaadi.com. I am very thankful to all the Shaadi.com team who has worked so hard in providing this platform in helping people find their soulmates in circumstances where we expect them the least. We got married on 22nd January 2017, and here is our love story I registered myself with Shaadi.com in March 2015 and started getting some random responses. I was not an active member due to hectic job as well as the reason that none of the profiles interests clicked. In the month of October 2015, Ashishs sister Shilpa contacted me and we exchanged some pictures. I had been talking to his sister intermittently for 3 months whereas Ash was focused just on his career goals. Somewhere my instinct was telling me not to back off despite not having any contact with him. After 3 months, one fine day, 19th Jan 2016, Ashish texted me on WhatsApp, we chatted for a while and then talks were initiated. We couldnt meet as I was in Pune and he was working in Chandigarh. Our families met each other on 6th March 2016, we at our first glance just were astonished, the sweet eyes were glaring each other, the glow & smiles all around, we enjoyed the beauty of silence as we have already exchanged words of love & a gut feeling came from within our hearts. Our families bonded so well that our Roka ceremony was done immediately on same day . That was a life changing day and we never looked back after that. It was then that our text chats got converted into regular phone calls & video chats. I still cherish the lovely conversations and that feeling of eagerly waiting all day to see him on Skype . On 22nd Jan 2017 marriage ceremony was done in presence of all relatives and friends. Though its been only 8 months, we both feel that we are an old couple who have been married since so many years. Though its a very simple story where two people meet and they just get clicked and a story is formed, but for me it is the story of my life. Its amazing how one day someone walks into your life, then the next day you wonder how you lived without them.
