Hello there, Thanks for the visit to read through my sister, Uma K.'s profile.
Ours is a close knit family of five. Parents live in Vijayawada, Krishna Dt., AP. Dad & Mom both are born into Telugu speaking Hindu families in Kapu/Naidu community and raised all our siblings in Hinduism while we were growing up. While we siblings were in our young-adult years, our family, transformed by the philosophy of Christianity via veritas.org is born-again ( i.e. Converted from Hinduism we are all born-into) & believes in the teachings of Christ. Except for our family of five, as all our relatives in either paternal/maternal side of our parents' families are Hindus, we attend all our relatives festive celebrations/parties they observe/host & they attend our Good Friday/Easter/Christmas celebrations we observe/host.
Like many that uphold the universal Golden Rule, we greatly regard & respect everyone's freedom of choice in independently expressing... more ones own belief/faith.
Uma holds an MA Lit. & PGDHRM degrees and has 12yrs of strong career with multiple reputed International Banks as AML-KYC Compliance officer and plans to shift her career from banking to IT. She is currently in PA to pursue her MBA staying close to her brother who's a legal permanent resident working in the Software Technology sector. Post completing MBA, she plans to advance her career to the next level in FinTech industry in the US.
With an upbeat attitude, Uma always looks at the brighter side of any situation. She strikes a decent balance between the time-honored traditional values of South Asian & the equivalent conservative values of the Western cultures. Given her Masters in Lit., she enjoys watching literary classics, thrillers, family drama/romantic/action comedies & enjoys listening to contemporary music.
Uma is looking for an open minded soulmate that is cheerful/courteous & has a decent education, & a lifestyle that honors God, values Family & Friends, and respects members in the community.Appreciate your time going through the profile.
Below is what matters to Uma the most in a happy marriage:
* mutual love & respect
* cherishing & honoring each other
* live & learn together
* encouraging & supporting one another
* be ourselves, & with God's grace, build a happy & healthy & loving family
home, where sweet non-materialistic memories last forever
